Description

A pre-cut ceramic fiber core for a stand alone rocket stove or to be included in a 6″ rocket mass heater build. You will need to purchase six fire brick splits (9″ x 4.5″ x 1.25″) separately to complete the stove as well as an 8″ x 24″ piece of ducting or stove pipe.. A small bag of finish nails is included with your order for easy assembly. This stove is not UL listed.

I now have two options available for the 6″ J stove. See photos above. The only difference is in the riser. The most recent design uses a ‘5 minute riser’, which is a piece of ducting lined with ceramic fiber blanket. I prefer this new design because it eliminates potential gaps in the riser and is easier to move and assemble. Some people may prefer a square model so that it can be shrouded in welded angle iron and transported as a single piece. Most people however, will likely prefer the new design with the riser held in a piece of ducting. I will by default send a stove with a circular riser as seen in the main photo. If you would like a square riser please send me an e-mail.

Specs: 26″ long, 9″ wide, 35″ high at riser, 10″ high everywhere else. The feed is approx 4.5″ x 5.5″
